Varieties of pumpkin seeds for processing into Styrian Prekmurje pumpkin oil are not prescribed. We can use different pumpkin seeds, among them the most represented are Slovenska golica, Gleisdorfer Ölkurbis, Wies 371 and Olinka, but all pumpkin seeds must correspond to prescribed quality specifications for Styrian Prekmurje pumpkin seed oil. The oil is the result of processing pumpkin seeds of the best quality after traditional procedure and with thorough control of the production process.
