Collection: Vinegar
People have known vinegar for almost ten thousand years. It was used in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, and was later highly valued by the Greeks and Romans. As early as the 14th century, the first guild of vinegar producers was established in France.
Centuries ago, our ancestors made vinegar from apples or other fruits. It was used primarily for salads and pickling dishes, but was also commonly used as a washing and cleaning agent.
